making a potato kugel tonight :3 it very much so feels like winter outside rn and our heater still doesn't work so v happy to have a warm rich starchy meal on the way
this has historically been a dish that I've always seen as like,,, big occasion kind of dish, it's just so hard and time consuming that I've only really had it at friends places. really pleased as punch that I've gotten it down well enough to where I can be like "eh what am I gonna do for sunday night? might as well do a potato kugel that sounds good"
