Same. I only learned about achewood in my late 20s, and it definitely didn't hit the same as folks said it did in their late teens
Funnily enough I first heard of Homestuck on Cohost and have only read most of it last year (I'm "stuck" at a game that won't let me play on the phone and I don't have a PC).
So I'm kinda tempted to invert Achewood and Homestuck.
I definitely was in the Achewood group.
damn I thought cohost was tumblr for people whose homestuck was dresden codak
i loathe that i understand this
tbh im not sure what achewood is (ive heard the name) but much to my present day embarrassment i have cosplayed a homestuck character
I looked up Achewood and wow, that is some classic "end of 1.0 into 2.0" era internet content. I feel like strips and comics like that are almost a relic of the time, and it's cool to see something like that still running. With the current format of the internet and this website I think we will see a return to short "Sunday Funnies" style strips read vertical like the traditional Japanese format of 4 Koma. I currently format my strip that way and it fits the feed perfectly and you read as you scroll.
Maybe our home stuck were the fridge we made along the way
I'm keeping that autocorrect in
