whats a good language to learn. i took like 2 years of german in hs but i keep getting frustrated with it trying to relearn it. i know a tiny little bit of japanese but the whole "3 writing systems and one of them has 10000 characters" is a little daunting. maybe i should just be useful and learn spanish
the vocabulary draws from German and Hebrew primarily, so a lot of words would likely feel familiar to you. :3
Yiddish is a delight to learn and there's a ton of resources out there now!
Just on hand, here is a list of readers and accessible books and here is a really rad text book
but yeah there is so much poetry and history and culture and politics within this language it really is great to learn, im just starting to pick it back up myself
