It's still amazing to me that swedens expressed pandemic policy was "treat it like similar viruses and then alter our approach as new data and research comes in from the rest of the world" and then they just didnt do the second part AT ALL and just completely IGNORED and denied all research that wasnt done in sweden, including that covid was airborne in addition to doing a lot of bad shit like just giving elderly people morphine to die quietly instead of treatment, and then 3 years later they've been "wow this thing we've known since 2020-2021 is true???" and they do revisionism about their 2020-2022 policy and statements and dont inform people, so youve got articles and statements of athletes in newspapers are still like "ill exercise\go to the championship with covid and we'll just be very diligent about washing our hands!" and doctors telling people to wash their hands to stay safe from covid or go to work with covid in late 2023 and it makes me want to eat my monitor.

looking forward to late 2024 or somewhen in 2025-2026 when sweden will discover Covid damages immune systems and it's not 'immunity debt' IN A COUNTRY THAT DIDNT HAVE A LOCKDOWN THEN BRAGGED REPEATEDLY ABOUT NOT HAVING LOCKDOWNS AND MINIMAL RESTRICTIONS
