started reading Work Won't Love You Back and even just the intro has me thinking about work entirely differently, namely that the term quiet quitting fucking sucks as it's a way to guilt us for what amounts to actually doing ones job as described, requested, and paid for
I've been so fucking martyrdom pilled like "oh woah is me if I slack off people get hurt" but man if a surgery falls through because I don't have enough time or energy then maybe that patient should have gone to a hospital that actually adequately staffs its programs. This isn't heart surgery or the ER and im not the surgeon. No more. I'm going to show up at eight, work until noon, sleep until one, work until five, then go home without a concern or thought towards the work left undone. They can buy my time but if they want my heart then they need to pay way, way more money than this
