im brought so much happiness reading this article on someone who is like "my adhd looks a lot like autism, and it is not autism, it is adhd that looks a lot like autism" if for nothing else the validation that this is a legit neurotype. the psych who diagnosed my neurotype was like "you have the genre of adhd that is akin to autism lite" and everyone I've mentioned that to has been very hmmmm and! no! it is actually a thing haha and the distinction is important. also just, I really don't relate to people writing about having adhd, or about having autism, and reading this was a big oh wait I do that oh wait what same huh lmao. tiny things but still it hits
