That antisemitism guy actually existed! It played a role in the Balfor Declaration of all things lol. Arthur Balfour earnestly believed "the Jews" controlled everything, but as a result he thought that if he got on their good side then maybe Britain would have a better shot at winning WWI.
The head of weapons research (if I remember correctly) at the time was Jewish and saw this in Balfour so egged him deeper into the belief while advocating for a Jewish state, which is just, so deeply funny to me
