(from an Orthodox teshuva on lesbian relationships)
Descrimination with halakich backing? Now that on the other hand is based
It is really good to see this being said
I ordered the book that this is a review of, Nashim Mesolelot, and I'm excited. The idea of arguing for halakhically sound acceptance of lesbian relationships within an Orthodox framework is great to see.
The main thesis seems to be "we've been making loop holes for generations for things as trite as eating meat in the week before Tish B'Av, why have none of us applied that creativity to increasing the number of people who can lead halakich lives."
