I'm transfixed by how in the new M. Night Shyamalan movie, Trap, they're at a concert hall in Philadelphia and one of the cops goes "we have men stationed outside at ninth and Market"
Which means that the concert hall that they're at is the same one that's part of the extremely contentious plan that's in the works rn to destroy a major part of downtown near ninth and market for an arena. So it's an alternative 2024 where that plan faced no pushback and was already up and running
Like omg is shyamalan taking a stance on the Chinatown arena?? Including extremely local politics in a major movie?? What a weird choice?? This throwaway line is perplexing me so much haha
