I googled books about fostering because ya know I'm baby crazy

One of the books I got from the library this week is a history of the Jewish community of South Philly (where I live) and there's an entire section on the trolley network that used to exist, it's breaking my heart ;_; you used to be able to get directly from South to strawberry mansion, NE philly, or out into the villages around philly on a trolley that'd come to most street corners every 10 minutes max. There were like 80 routes, now we have like what,, four? I feel like shit just want her back.

Apparently the author for this book was just a very passionate manager at McDonald's who put together a like academic level history book during his free time?? Wild

It's also just really cool learning about the Jewish shops and cultural organizations that used to exist on or around my block. If the weather's nice I might spend Sunday walking around the neighborhood with this books as a guide. Libraries are cool, you find neat stuff there sometimes
