sometimes in fanworks you'll see characters with 'modifiers' attached via an exclamation point, of the form adjective!noun (read 'adjective bang noun'), like evil!harry or dragon!tohru or so on.

it claims this grammatical internet slang is at least as old as 1997 and the show X-Files, which was a popular fanfiction subject at the time. hell, it still is, if you count the SCP wiki as just a very long-running X-Files fanfic.
before this grammar was used for fandoms, it was called "bang paths" and was used to disambiguate email addresses on the proto-internet. these days we use an at symbol for a similar purpose, but the bang paths stuck around in fandom chats.
