just seems relevant with all the BG3 discussion about the game being an outlier.
i accidentally watched yt video that was basically “hahah these devs are stupid for asking people to not expect this every time” that flipped between “obviously people understand it’s not always possible to do this” and “devs should always be doing this” without irony. it was exhausting to see someone completely ignore the real cause of other AAAish titles issues (corporations) to blame developers.
now i’m angry about redfall again.
