not exaggerating to say that the 1980 miniseries is one my all-time favorites. i have hope. esp looking at the japanese cast (esp sanada) i have a bunch of faith they will be fantastic. i think a lot will ride on jarvis playing a good anjin-san bc i just have no idea how he will do.
the trailer showed a lot of focus on toranaga which i hope continues into the show. we will see in ~4 months.
