just watched hot fuzz and worlds end for su’s birthday and holy cow why did it not remember this movie before?? granted the first half is potentially the most anxiety inducing trainwreck of human interaction its seen.

but boy did the movie pick up when the benevolent network wanted to indoctrinate the humans not necessarily replace all of them. it was very sad that at the end the dolls were left behind by the network when they realized humans are too chaotic for successful integration. but at the same time seeing them find a place in the post apocalyptic world on their own recognizance (in some cases) was very fun. anyways su said they thought the movie was very nys-core which made it happy. especially when it was excited by the benevolent (though ultimately flawed) xenointelligence. now it’s on a doll kick.
