just thinking about watching sunshine (2007) with friends a few days ago and when one of them gets toasted i was like “omg it’s like ryan reynolds, he is only carbon now” and both went “WHAT?! ryan reynolds is dead??” and i started to say “yeah you didn’t hear the news out of Vancouver?” before realizing they weren’t playing into the bit bc they aren’t on cohost and i quickly backpedaled. i am not used to having different irl and socmed memes.
