I think I will finally be able to get my tattoo removed ^^ I got my first tattoo in 2019, and due to my anxiety, I hadn't said anything about placement or size while the artist was placing the transfer paper.

Anyways, It ended up being too much over one way, and was kind of blown out horizontally. That, and my coworkers kind of joked about how it looked. I ended up hating it soon after I got it. I did the design myself, but instead of it feeling special and personal to me, I felt embarrassed about it. I think maybe the design just didn't translate well from paper to skin.

I received a quote from a tattoo removal company for around $1,600 USD. Mind you, it's very simple, just some linework. The entire tattoo took maybe 20 minutes to complete. I don't doubt the cost all that much, just that I don't exactly have that much to spend.

Recently, a women-owned tattoo removal place opened up near me, and they quoted me around $400 to significantly fade it.

I'm hoping, if all goes well, I can start receiving sessions at the beginning of 2023.

I'm kind of afraid to get another tattoo due to my experience with the first. I suppose it depends on just how much mine will fade.
