dunno if anyone else uses Firefox on mobile but i used the "Install" option to put a lil icon for cohost on my home screen so i can treat it more like an "app", but the icon it makes for it is blank. anyone know if this is a Firefox issue, an Android issue, a cohost issue, or somethin else?

I don't recall the exact details but I believe this is a Cohost issue - the page needs to have some metadata that tells mobile browsers what to use for the faux-app icon.
The fact is, it does (grep the sources for apple-touch-icon); but Firefox for Android probably wants a different size or scale of it.
(It does in fact work fine on iOS.)

Firefox on iOS won’t let you do this at all (probably because it will always launch safari) but Safari does give it a correct icon…maybe it’s an android requirement that cohost doesn’t supply?
