i've been taken by the wonder boy 3 remake, it's so good. I love the art so much. The enemy art has this quality where they interpreted sprites drawn with anime-esque expressions through a western hand-animated cartoon. you can switch between old and new graphics with a button and i wish i could play with both at the same time. i switch constantly. the modern art is so lush, but there's something to be said for the readability of the classic look.
