Does the 25% CPU to 8% change the math behind how many people cohost+ allows? It'd be cool if y'all managed to triple your runway or something
unfortunately most of our expenses are labor! hosting expenses aren't that bad, all told. but we're not in imminent danger of running out of money either way, so don't worry too much.
don't get me wrong though! it'll probably save us at least $100 a month in the near term -- we've been using way more database than we really need to, apparently -- and that's not nothing.
having poked around a month ago, but only now being activated, the difference is really incredible! the whole thing feels waaay snappier. the overall feel is really pleasant

back in my day we had to walk 10 miles to get posts from the dashboard, uphill both ways
paw paw would send me to the store for a dozen posts. i couldn't even get excited. i knew i'd have to split them six ways when i got back, and a post was only good for about a minute or so of entertainment back then. some days though, they'd have the big posts. i remembered those days for a long time after
