also in case it wasn't clear enough from that last post vreeza is transgender. their culture has different assigned genders than humans but none of those are vreeza's gender either. if you asked them what their gender is they'd say "nonquaternary." they wouldn't realize that saying this could out them as an alien because they don't realize that humans have different assigned genders than their culture does. they just think they got really lucky and landed on a planet where everyone was really into neopronouns and haven't brought it up because they consider it a nonissue so no one has had a chance to correct them
