corn battle!! where keiji nakazawa challenges rokusaburo michiba and decides that two dishes is Good Enough (dear reader, it was not enough). that one gave me a lot of inspiration for Carbide Chef: Arsplice Seed Battle (imet is my michiba expy). also love carrot battle where kiyoshi takahashi challenges chen kenichi and chen gets all wistful about how they used to fool around in shanghai together in ota's post-match interview. but also i'm not too picky, there's always something to enjoy in an iron chef episode (though if it's an animal theme ingredient i feel a bit bad for the ones where they have to kill it right then and there. yes i understand the irony of this statement given my oeuvre)
