It's comical (and sad) how many times I see "To see this content please enable targeting cookies" in my RSS reader because some sites continue to simply embed tweets without any consideration for their readers or, frankly, the longevity of their content. Is it really so hard to just copy the text into your article? That way all of your readers can see it and as a side benefit your article retains that context even if the tweet is removed later (or Twitter decides to kill embeds or implodes or whatever).
Not all of us want to interact with Twitter. Not all of us want to enable targeting cookies to read a sentence or two for additional context in an article. Stop being lazy.
