I haven't actually done much on this game tonight, but I have aggressively culled some scope, which feels MWAH CHEF KISS SO GOOD. Unasking hard problems by doing the obvious thing because of imminent time constraints, imagine that.
Case in point: I could implement an aiming arc so the player knows exactly where their "water grenade" will land; or I could make it a simple line trace instead of a projectile, contextualize it as a magic spell, and now we're worldbuilding baby, the player isn't just a thief, she's an acolyte wizard thief.
Producers love me, writers hate me.
