Every time I do a bit of game modding I'm reminded why I don't spend much time there. Documentation has somehow decreased over time due to people moving it into discord and then losing it when the server owner clicks the Uzbekistan lottery email. Good dev tooling usually isn't possible either for myriad reasons.
And working with actual ergonomic dev environments during the work day makes dealing with mystery apis and print only debugging extra painful.
