As this place winds down I want to spotlight a handful of artists that I grew to like from discovering their work on cohost. Some of these folks haven't posted in a bit so IDK if they're even still around but I can't bear to leave without something to say how much they all meant to me.
This is going to be exclusively people whom I don't already know are quite well known around these parts. Of course, cohost being what it is, its very difficult to actually tell who is and isn't well known but you get the idea. I'm gonna try my best to separate it into SFW and NSFW folks but, again with cohost being what it is, a lot of these people are probably going to be a mix of both so just be aware.
A lot of these folks have links to other websites so i highly recommend giving them a follow there if, like me, you also like their stuff. Sadly some folks do not so enjoy 'em while you can. I'll mark anyone I know to have available links with a little

@illumasilica - Great fanart and abtract monstery kinda guys. intensely creative and fun to look at works.
@NanoButts - Super vibrant, lovely Sonic fanarts and fighting game girls.
@Karuu - Gorgeous shapes and lines. Beautiful.

@bittenbun - Beautiful furry girls. No, really I love them so much.
@moonlitdecadence - Really pretty artistic nudes and lingerie.
@yolk - Criminally underrated NSFW artist. Their stuff is so hot.
@CutieCoffin - HOT BOYS WITH BIG TITS. But also his work is so soft and lovely and UGH.
@kinomoto - Gorgeously painted furry girls. Honestly its ridiculous how nice her art is.
@vetis - More hot girls. Not much else to say; I like girls.
@giantwives - Super pretty and interestingly designed furry girls. I'll admit i didn't follow much of her SFW stuff but its also! Really good!
Its not the most comprehensive list of artists on this website, that's for sure but all y'all's work meant a lot to me in one way or the other and I'm gonna miss it. I wanted to make sure as many people as possible saw it before the end.
I'm always going to regret not interacting on a personal level with more people on here so let this serve to say how much I appreciate you all. All the best.
I've been thinking about it since a couple folks mentioned it and its not actually a bad idea to plug my ko-fi for people to follow if they wanna see me around; it has comments, you can kinda blog there, you don't have to pay me money to see the gallery (although I won't say no to your money, I am currently unemployed) etc.
Its not a perfect solution, by any stretch; you're basically not allowed to post NSFW stuff there, for instance (thanks, Stripe) but I could start uploading sketches and things there I suppose. And at least if another, better solution becomes available in the meantime I can make a post there so you could all find it. Its worth a go, hey?

i've started a bluesky, and maybe that'll help me move away from twitter too. gonna be more conscious in my choices of who im following there, try to curate my experience more, and that might make it a more livable place.
