It's like a little smaller box of cereal you pour into another cereal to enhance it. An extra type of marshmallow for lucky charms or something. A new challenge awaits you this morning for breakfast. Add Honey Bunches of Oats: Rising Morning Star to your bowl today for a new post-breakfast adventure

In the tradition of Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal, Syndicate: American Revolt, Master Levels for Doom II etc, most 1990s cereal DLCs upped the challenge considerably, including items such as steel ball bearings, wood chips, chunks of concrete, and of course glass.

Arguably this already happens in the "Part of a Complete Breakfast" photoshoots where they strongly imply that you aren't getting the complete experience with your cereal if you don't also drop raspberries into your bowl, eat half a grapefruit, an extra glass of milk, and a stack of buttered toast; the main difference is a lack of horizontal consolidation.

My husband already does this; he loves to add Raisin Nut Bran to Frosted Mini Spooners, or mix different Chex types. He says it makes breakfast more fun, so you may be on to something.
