i recently finished making a fashion doll of my favorite boy and yours, Felix! he has an internal metal skeleton and removable clothes (that i hand sewn and made my hands hurt), making him more of a fashion doll than my other plushies are. i'm really happy with the results but i don't really want to repeat the experiment unless someone pays me a lot of money lol.

i plan on making a construction write up a little later, but you can see even more photos on my ko-fi!

ohhhh this is amazing!!

I feel you on hand sewing little clothes; all I did was hand-hem and neckband a tiny frog T-shirt and I was kinda done (I managed to do the main seams with a sewing machine, but anything that required going in a circle couldn't work due to the tiny size)

What did you use for your skeleton?

i am defo going to use hand sewn tiny clothes only as a last resort in a similar way you mentioned, i could have avoided so many problems with that lol.

the skeleton is made of craft wire, the "spine" core being made with 1/8th inch diameter wire, and all of the limbs are doubled up 1/16th inch diameter that are all wrapped around that spine to keep the limbs in place.
