tried to play the new escape academy dlc with a friend but my motion sickness activated so bad ive been laying down for the past hour and its still too early for me to go to bed.

yeah we only played through 2 of the levels before my brain was falling apart. i think the two we did were just ok, they retread some of the same sets because its In Da Past but the puzzles so far haven't really stood above what the original ones were in the base game so i understand how it might not be reviewing well
oh yeah i meant the first dlc pack which was... on an island i think? me and my friend who played academy picked up the We Were Here series which has a little of a horror bent to it but nothing significantly scary, and that's been a lot of fun generally
there wasn't a lot to the island stuff but i thought it was neat, i think our only restart was in that pack because the checkpoints were bs. i'll recommend to my friend we were here cuz i think he enjoys horror stuff so we could play that too
