🌟What is your first and latest art inspiration? What has made you changed?
hard to pick a "first" when i feel like i've been drawing and making art my whole life lol. i think my first inspiration was neopets? in that it was a place to make original characters and i wanted to make stuff outside the realm of just what was on the site, and early neopets really did a good job at fostering that kind of behavior in its community.
latest art inspiration is probably dungeons and dragons/ttrpgs, if following the same pattern/capacity as neopets. it's a "game" in that making up your own content and stories is actively encouraged by the medium. it's opened up a lot of doors into learning about a lot of other fantasy stuff too.
i have a lot of inspos that come and go, but a huge art rather than conceptual inspo at the moment is magic the gathering art. a lof of it is spectacular, but specifically the art of dominik mayer has been driving my inspiration bus at the moment. his use of form, color, and composition are so fucking cool i love getting cards with his art on it. his work right now is influencing how im approaching a few pieces at the moment
🎧 What do you usually listen to when you work? Any music or podcast recommendation?
i don't really listen to music while i work, i prefer listening to podcasts or watching videos on youtube. big recommendation for the well there's your problem podcast as that fills a lot of the working hours, but also i've recently been watching a lot of no rolls barred. really stretching between two skyscrapers about engineering disasters and videos about boardgames lol.
💟 If you have to draw something in a postcard and send to your online friend...... what would you like to draw for them?
i'd really like to draw something personalized for them, like drawing one of their original characters or their pet, or a drawing of them! if i know what they look like or they have a sona i can draw. i think it'd be fun :^)
