im sorry i know im trying to relegate my snow crash thoughts to that single thread but i cannot exemplify how bad this book has infected my brain. much like when i got near the end of the fellowship of the ring and was like "oh fuck i get it now" i have now reached the point in snow crash where i both get it and it's just In Me now. no fucking wonder this book was so wildly influential. it's just a fucking fantastic book and it's got enough of that biting satire but in a funny way to appease all of the cynical freaks (affectionate) and counterculture folks (very affectionate).
