interstellar spoilers
this movie also gets props for doing my favorite version of "time travel" whereas the timeline does not change because the experienced timeline is already existing under the effects of the time travel in the first place. things becoming self fulfilling prophecy or a reframing of knowledge we had before.
interstellar takes it just a step further by saying that even within this movie it isn't the full scope of the recursion necessary to get to the narrative being told, implying a grander scale of moments in time aligning itself to complete itself. everything is a stable timeloop, you have to create the circumstances that allowed you to be there. time is a fucking circle, but i'll kiss that goddamn circle.
