as midnight strikes, i have completed the rules doc on this new ttrpg that's Highly derivative of genesys by fantasy flight games but its gotta stay in the oven a bit longer since its all written just for me to mostly understand and communicate the mechanics verbally lol. i made this game because genesys is cool but it is nearly impossible to teach and while it has the ability to customize a lot of the game it puts a lot of pressure on the GM to make and balance a lot of stuff. mine is basically a rules lite genesys that uses custom d6s instead because making and 3d printing custom d6s is easy as hell.
this isnt the alchemy game i mentioned a little bit ago, that one has to cook for a lot longer because the mechanics quickly started getting out of control and i need to reign in that game a bit more. this genesys derivative is what ive been trying to make so i can clear my head to consider alchemy game a bit more once im ready to get back to it.
