there are very few games in the world that i would consider "life changing" for me and i've played a lot of games. i think i would give persona 3 an even higher honor of calling it "life defining" after having played it in the early 2010s.
it's been over 10 years now since i've played this game for the first time and even playing the portable version which is a significantly less fleshed out version even compared to the base game persona 3 i am filled with so much love and nostalgia. i've already committed myself to playing this game 2 times through in this rereleased form when i've played 1.5 times already in my life.
i don't know if my words can understate how much of an impact this had on me as a teenager and young adult and how much i want to throw myself again into this game that breathed so much life into me. i'm so excited to play it again.
