i already loved intellect devourers, they're just little brains with legs and tentacles, so i was absolutely overjoyed when you get one as a follower in BG3. i finally got around to making a plushie of the design from the game, though im super in love with the canonical design and that of ustilagors that seemed to inspire the in-game look of them.

you can see more photos on my ko-fi and because i think that this guy is so cool, i posted a public blog post about how i went around designing this plushie(and taking a moment to despair about other brain plushies on the market today)!

"Stripes" (she/they), my baldurs gate 3 evil campaign character. i wish i could make her a weird unicorn tiefling but i have my own two hands to make it real. (wish there were just more fucked up horn options in the character creator in general lmao)

she also has the dark urge background and the choices specific to that option are sometimes really interesting, sometimes shocking, comparative to the custom background stuff, but that just makes those options more enticing to choose.

man i love Baldur's Gate 3 by the renowned Larian Studios i finally got my analogue pocket and came across the fact there were two dnd GBA games that were released: Eye of the Beholder, which is a semi-remake-but-still-unrelated version of the other Eye of the Beholder game, and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, which I can only assume got the multi-platform treatment of the early 00s in which they made like 5 different games by 5 different studios for the 5 different platforms at the time.

the Eye of the Beholder game booklet is basically it's own mini dnd 3rd edition rulebook and your character customization options in the Dark Alliance game is "brown cheerleader", "pink cheerleader" and "neon green cheerleader"

i played both of them at least 15 minutes and they undoubtedly suck, but they do have their own appealing qualities to them and i'd like to play more of it just to see what else there is to see, but because i don't have a handle on any of the controls and systems i'm dealing with i died and got set back to the first 2 minutes of the game so.... i'll maybe look through some other games to play on my analogue pocket before that.

also, i was testing my pocket with the eragon GBA game and it's... actually pretty neat??? what????? i'll do a write up about it later because i WILL be playing more of that
