(not in any particular order, just pulling stuff from my bandcamp account)
i fucking love pizza tower the game. i might not be super good at it, but i did beat it and that's what counts. sometimes i just need to listen to some pizza music to get me through the day and if you've played the game then you know that every single track off this OST fucking Delivers The Pizza.
it's the ENA: Dream BBQ trailer song! just the single track but it's absolutely haunting and mood setting. i'm greatly anticipating the release of Dream BBQ, but sated for now because a new ENA episode released yesterday!
admittedly, i have purchased nearly MASTER BOOT RECORD's entire discography. i love electronic music and while i wouldn't really consider myself a metal fan, MBR makes electronic metal music that i can't stop listening to. this was the first album of theirs i bought and listened to and i've not looked back.
another genre i got really into this year was dungeon synth, thanks in part to The Dungeon Synth Archives which have put me on to a bunch of albums and artists (and they always list how to purchase the albums directly, usually through bandcamp!) Sword & Circuitry is probably amongst the faves i've listened to, a high recommend.
i mean anyone who's likes electronic music probably knows perturbator and the uncanny valley. i've been a longtime fan but only found his bandcamp this year so i bought the uncanny valley officially. absolutely fantastic darksynth album that if you haven't listened to you're doing yourself a disservice honestly.
all of the corru.observer albums are fucking fantastic. the music is beautifully atmospheric and sets the tone of corru incredibly well. i find myself coming back to volume 3 quite frequently, the highs and lows here really take you on a journey.
i bought this music to listen to during my travel to visit my family for thanksgiving and i can't stop listening to it. both this album "The Age of The Saucers" and "Invaders" are what i'd describe as... music for a really cool 80s invasion movie that doesn't exist. i don't really like alien invasion movies but if this was the music for it i'd watch the hell out of those movies. a really perfect blend of traditional instruments and electronic synths and theremins make for one of my fav listening experiences of the year
