i could literally write essays in combination with the art ive been posting because my brain loves explaining things and details so i hope the captions havent been too obnoxious for people to read. ive never been able to make "aesthetic" art with "evocative" captions because i just like pairing everything with a dissertation on exactly why i did the things i did even if those things are arbitrary and random. but then paradoxically i prefer a lot of my work to "speak for itself" because im shite at marketing my work and "pushing" my brand. because im not making things to service a "need" im making stuff because i enjoy it and maybe want to talk about it if people are interested.
posting art on twitter was filling my brain with battery acid ive realized. i think thats the takeaway here.
