every 5 years or so i replay yoshi's island (the super mario advance gba version) because its one of the best games of all time and while starting my playthrough today i remembered the thing i always wondered about the blue yoshi.
like this is the guy they send to every single boss castle (save for the last level). like why is he always the one that has to literally go through the fire and the flame.
as a kid i thought because he's blue that he was more resistant to heat/fire so thats why they kept making him do the boss castle gauntlets.
