in some good news, i learned that taking dramamine before playing video games with 3d cameras eliminates my motion sickness. it feels stupid to have to take medicine to play certain video games, but i know it works and it opens a lot of doors for me to play stuff (given i get at least a half hour/hour lead time on playing games since thats how long it takes for the dramamine to start working)

annoyingly, having read the back of the box ive learned that my mother (who has to be concerned about what meds she takes) was chronically under-dosing me whenever i asked to take some for plane trips and car rides, which makes me retroactively frustrated for my younger self and all those times i still got nauseous and threw up upon reaching our destinations. thanks mom.

tfw its the week before gen con and you're setting up playtests for a ttrpg you wrote and there's the mtg bloomburrow pre-release on friday and then youre having another friend mtg event on saturday and you gotta take product photos of two things before shipping one of them out and also you wanna play elden ring so bad

im bursting at the seams

writing a new mystery for a ttrpg playtest, that means drawing new character portraits for player visual reference (and color-in-able if they wanna do that)

i need to stop staying up late to work on commissions but i came up with some ingenious ways to translate this design im working on and i was too invigorated to just let the idea lie dormant i had to see it in action and im right is utterly perfect but now it's 2-freaking-am whoops
