  1. what the heck is the cohost global feed and how do i use it Correctly

  2. teach me a cool little css for beginners trick

  3. help me figure out how to interact with potential creative colleagues without having to turn myself into a brand

so please share your knowledge and skills and insight with me

I can only speak re: 3. I don't know how or why people try to turn themselves into brands. The idea sounds exhausting (and limiting) to me.

But as far as working with others, my experience has been that the route of least resistance seems to yield the greatest fruit. That is, welcoming another's skills or contributions--whatever they might be--will be the easiest way to gain participation or collaboration. I've often been surprised at how narrowly others actually want to define their roles, so I have had to be as liberal as possible at first, in soliciting participation.

Patience, as well, helps. Whenever I've initiated projects, it never fails: illness or vacations strike others, or illness while on vacation! 😄 I often forget that many people's plates are constantly full, and they may need several chances to join a project I want their input on. Direct invitations can also spur a project along. It's an honor to be asked to participate. It also can build up personal commitment, while you're letting momentum/discovery-by-others build organically.

Cheers and all the best! 🙂
