another thought (will i run out before the three weeks are over)
sometimes i have had the sense that a lot of marginalized people are wanderers building homes for bigots. each time we create an idea or space for ourselves, it ends up overrun, warped into something unrecognizable. and we leave. and we start again. and we wonder which house we have to build to finally have a shelter for more than a few years at best.
cohost goes out with a different kind of despair. it can be easy to say 'fight so those bastards don't take what we make' but i don't know what to say to something that's dying on its own to be left in the ground.
