SHOW ME YOUR FAVORITE TOOLS!!

Ill start! Here's my favorite 2d traditional art tools! They go everywhere with me! The test sampler on the side includes some non-favorites that were also in my bag at the time, including the pigma brush, which i do not like.

2D traditional art

To be honest, it's been a while since I've gotten most of these out.
Sketchbook. This one's a Pentalic, but anything hardcover and spiralbound, around 70 pound paper, is to my liking.
Pentel side-click .5mm mechanical pencils, black with HB lead, blue with Uni mint blue lead.
Pentel clic erasers. The blue one is ancient.
Uni Kuru Toga .5mm mechanical pencil. I generally like it but using side-clicks all through school years makes rear-clicks disproportionately annoying.
Pentel GraphGear 500 .9mm drafting pencil, with 2B lead.
Staedtler Mars Technico 2mm lead holders. The ancient one (30+ years old) is loaded with GoldGate HB, the newer one with Staedtler non-photo blue.
Pilot Juice .38, Pentel Slicci 03, Pilot Hi-Tec-C Maica 04.

2D digital art

Drawing's been basically all digital for the past year.
Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel with a Wacom One stylus. In order to use this without causing neck, back, or shoulder pain and injury, I have gradually developed...

The Stack

It looks absolutely insane, but it doesn't hurt. I can't shrimp anymore, and let's face it, I should never have shrimped before.

Photography

Full Spectrum kit
Nikon 1 V3 with Full Spectrum Conversion by Kolari, Nikon 1 V3 EVF (I debated getting the grip for a while but battery access is more important to me), and Nikon 1 18.5mm lens.
Manfrotto Xume magnetic filter adapters. They don't make these anymore and I haven't checked if others are compatible. I am TERRIFIED of dropping any.
Hoya R72 720nm IR filter, Kolari Hot Mirror, Kolari IRChrome, Kolari 590nm IR filter, Kolari UV Bandpass filter, Kolari 10-stop IRND filter. There's more, but I get the most use out of these.

Normal kit
Panasonic FZ-80 superzoom bridge.
Nikon 1 J5, Nikon 1 6.7-13mm lens. I prefer the V3 like 90% of the time but the J5 uses the same Sony 1" sensor that all of Sony's advanced compacts use. God I wish the V4 happened before Nikon killed the line.
Nikon 1 70-300mm lens.
Olympus Tough TG-Tracker action camera. Mostly used for driving timelapse.

If it isn't already obvious, I use cameras as much for "hey what's that over there" as actual deliberate attempts at art photography.

Not shown are
Vanguard Veo 3+ 263AB tripod legs with Manfrotto 410 Junior geared head. Versatile. Precise. Fucking heavy.
Slik Universal U-112 tripod legs (ancient, about to break at any moment) with Vanguard ball head (taken from the Veo 3+ tripod).
Manfrotto 243 window pod with Slik Leveling Unit 2 with Manfrotto 390 RC head. For taking pictures out of a car window and looking... just comically suspicious.
Ruggard Commando Pro 65 shoulder bag, with Domke strap and FA-031 shoulder pad, original shoulder strap used as a waist strap to prevent bounce, and Mindshift Gear Nest filter case.
Golla Pro sling bag for when I have clearer objectives and don't need to bring EVERYTHING.

Impractical but hilarious
Tamron SP 500mm catadioptric lens adapted to the V3. Sub-millimetric movements to focus. Tripod required.

That weird ruler compass is actually kinda old, i got it from highschool and it was old then. Most of the tools we used in that class were from the late 70s. Ive never seen them in stores, and there is no visible brand name on it. The closest modern equivalent i can find is here: https://smile.amazon.com/Learning-Resources-SAFE-T-Bullseye-Compass/dp/B0013PA13W/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?crid=1F3ORI72ZH6NM&keywords=compass+ruler+combo&qid=1672012617&sprefix=compass+ruler+combo%2Caps%2C183&sr=8-17 The dollar coin is for smaller circles.
