So far bluesky is a website where people literally just rehash shot for shot election arguments from 2014-2022 they had on Twitter but Japanese zoos don't have accounts there I so I can't at least see some snow leopards in between literally predicting the next three replies to a post with a Vote Blue No Matter Who person

Also something is weird about how it surfaces replies so pile ons just CONTINUE as more people see an ONGOING conversation and jump in? It's very exhausting.

Sounds like an exact repeat of Twitter tbh, and is why I'm still hesitant to get on Bluesky. Not looking to relive the last few years of my Twitter experience and be reminded why I left in the first place :/

This is so real

Bluesky is literally designed to look exactly like twitter to make the migration easier. It's feature-bare just like real twitter and has no facilities to build meaningful pages or connections (i.e. it holds the same model as "pump out funny posts until you get the 'lotsa numbers' dopamine rush")

even the fediverse is better.
