Eggshells have a lot of calcium in them.
kiwi peels are super high in fiber. banana peels have a lot of potassium. carrot greens have lots of vitamin a and iron
a lot of these things are valid ingredients when ground or cooked. I'll literally eat kiwi's whole
I see people throwing away squash skins and even turkey skin!
and why do people peel potatoes / carrots? isn't that just working harder to waste nutrition?
maybe stop shaming big corporations for wasting food when you can't even conserve your own.
