based on my extremely limited but in-depth research on my husband whose favorite color is orange, orange heart means u like orange
yeah this is true, my girlfriend likes yellow and orange, she uses orange because she likes orange (and our other partner gets yellow)
I use a bunch of different colors, but they all have different meanings to me:
I use ๐ for expressing the kind of love that one has for friends (most people use the red heart for this), ๐ for expressing sympathy or empathy or really just "I care about you, and what you just said is so sad", โฅ๏ธ is reserved for romantic love (so I haven't used it in like the past 2 and a half years or so), ๐ for [R-18 spoilers], and ๐ค with certain people who also use it.
I know someone who uses ๐ exclusively because green is their color and their vibe.
