Very happy for my 2019 Configurations article, 'Ethical Depictions of Neurodivergence in SF about AI' to have been cited in David M Higgins' Palgrave Macmillan book 'Ann Leckie's Ancillary Justice: A Critical Companion'.
Stoked to give this book a read! Ancillary Justice remains one of my favourite novels and I'm always keen to hear new perspectives on it!
EDIT: I should note that I don't 100% agree with what Higgins says about my article. Breq provides a positive and nuanced depiction of neurodivergence, but I don't explicitly claim that characters like Breq give neurotypical people insight into what it feels like to be neurodivergent 'from the inside', because that's not something I can confirm.
