I'm happy to announce that Iris is alive and well, and has just gotten out of the hospital. If you don't know about Iris, to summarize, they are homeless at the moment with Lupus and seizures and need consistent financial support. (previous posts: 1, 2)

They currently lack certain necessities such as menstrual pads and other toiletries and are trying to get back to Philadelphia so they are closer to a larger support network. They're asking for $300 today to keep up with roofing, costs of living, and food.

I will be available as a middleman for people who are locked to PayPal exclusively until Iris is able to regain access to their PayPal account. If you can make a Cashapp/Venmo at all please do, I can no longer cover PayPal fees and by using me as a middleman your donation will be reduced by their transaction fee + the instant transfer fee.

4/24/23 Update: For a few days now, Iris has been missing. We do not know where they are, and are aware that they have made very concerning Tweets and sent worrying messages before going totally offline and deactivating accounts. We are hoping they are fine. Please pray for their safety.

This post is being left up to allow others to decide what to do with this information. If anything changes and I am permitted to go public with the information, I will do so.

I am posting this on behalf of another person to increase the reach for their situation.

A disabled and homeless trans person, Iris, has met all their emergency goals. However, more expenses in the hundreds will be coming up within the coming days. $40 in particular will be needed very soon to be ready for upcoming medical costs. I am leaving this post up so people remain aware of the situation, I will probably make a new one if needed.
