slur reclamation isnt everyones bag and i would never deign to insinuate someone who doesn't want this should just Get Over It but in my specific brain wiring and such there was always something that made me feel so warm.
when a friend who knows and loves me does this it really just feels like it cuts to the quick of seeing me as an existence trying to exist outside of the forced norms of this world and isn't trying to butter me up with wholesome fangless smarm and butchered picrew AAVE and secretly trying to keep me boxed in with other labels for my whole deal
