oh my god I just saw this ask I am so sorry. uh. my oc gavin has a lot of songs that fit him… I have a whole playlist in fact… but uhh. like in terms of general mood, mommy by RIP fits him really well, in sound. it feels really melancholic but also angry. quietly angry, the type of discontent where you know you’re about to do something really horrible. a self pity that leads to violence. it also sounds like loss, but the kind of loss where it was your fault it’s gone because you destroyed it. the end of it sounds like bitter acceptance, like you’ve ruined your life and the hole you dug is all you’ve got left. that all fits him a lot. the grungy sound also really fits the kind of music he would’ve liked to listen to
