so i've always loved kaomoji but since learning more about the issues ppl using screen readers face i've been more hesitant to use them... BUT seeing this post on here reminded me of posts on accessiblity i've seen from @artemis & @ewie and now i think maybe i've figured out how to make kaomoji accessible ???

uncertain kaomoji

i think if i did that correctly then people using screen readers will have just heard "uncertain kaomoji" instead of "left black lenticular bracket, katakana middle dot, underscore, katakana middle dot, question mark, right black lenticular bracket"

here's what i wrote

<span aria-describedby="user-content-kaomoji-id">
	<span aria-hidden="true">【・_・?】</span>
	<span id="kaomoji-id" style="font-size:0px;">uncertain kaomoji</span>
</span>

maybe there could be a kaomoji repository where people can copy kaomoji along with the appropriate accessibility info 🤔 (i tried searching to see if there'd been any prior work on accessible kaomojis but didn't find much, if there's something already out there that i missed feel free to let me know!!)
