yeah idk im pretty convinced now that college student governments should be way more powerful. like, 3/4ths majority veto power over the board of trustees, student body president is a permanent member of the bot, appropriations control over a fixed percentage of college funds, and investigative power into faculty.

I'd say take it even further: Have all admin staff, trustees, faculty &c. be employees of the student body, which is represented by the student government.
